On Tuesday, October 25 I had the opportunity to visit the West Harrison FCCLA chapter.
I had a great time helping get their middle school chapter started for the year! I spoke about my FCCLA experiences and things my chapter has done such as trick-or-treating for cans. High school chapter president and former state officer candidate Miranda Felton also spoke about her experiences and the things that their chapter does through the year.
I had a great time gaining ideas for my chapter, exploring their school, and getting their members excited for the year! It’s always exciting to see how other schools do things during the day since I am looking forward to becoming an FCS teacher! It was great to meet some of the middle school students interested in becoming FCCLA members, and I hope they all join!
Good luck to all of the West Harrison FCCLA members this year! I think we can expect great things from all of you!
In Red & White,
Hayley Ellis
First Vice President
